Location. The Hotel Palomar Arlington is located in Arlington, Va., in the Rosslyn neighborhood. The hotel is within two miles of Georgetown University and Arlington National Cemetery. The Kennedy Center and Pentagon are two miles from the hotel. The United States Air Force Memorial is less than three miles away.
Hotel Features. Designed by Pei, Cobb and Freed partners, this hotel is located in Waterview Towers. A complimentary wine reception is held in the evenings amid sleek sculptures and paintings. Complimentary coffee and tea are served in the living room each morning. Located at the hotel entrance, pet friendly Bark Bar offers pets complimentary treats and food bowls, mats and beds, and a special tag with the hotel's location information. The hotel also includes a pet lounge called The Dish. The hotel's Domasco Restaurant and Bar serves Northern Italian cuisine made from farm fresh and seasonal ingredients features antipastas, soups, salads and homemade pastas. A fitness center featuring cardiovascular machines, weight training and two spa rooms offering body and beauty treatments are available.
Guestrooms. Most of the hotel's 154 rooms include Potomac River or city views from floor to ceiling windows. Bedding features Frette linens and feather duvets. Wireless Internet access, and mp3 docking stations, flat panel televisions and DVD players are complimentary. Laptop compatible, in room safes are provided. Minibars are stocked with snacks and beverages and room service is available 24 hours a day. Guest bathrooms include complimentary toiletries by L'Occitane and animal print bathrobes.
Expert Tip. The Hotel Palomar has implemented an environmentally friendly philosophy. As a part of the EarthCare program, the minibars in all guestrooms are stocked with organic snacks and beverages. All complimentary lobby coffee is organic, shade grown and fair trade and the hotel participates in property wide recycling programs.
